Lg Remote With Mouse Pad
Have new LG TV with magic remote. Have Onyko Audio system with multiple inputs (Dish and computer) one output LG TV. My question is can I use the LG magic remote as a mouse when my computer (Win 10) is showing on the TV? Simply put Computer -> Audio Receiver -> TV
Get literally any “universal” remote and program it to control the TV. Maybe the one that came with your cable box or whatever. If you don’t have something, go get one of Logitech’s Harmony remotes or similar. Pull the annoying LG remote’s batteries and stash it in a drawer. Never think about it again. LG Magic Remote acts as a universal remote with auto device detection for most devices. And you can use voice commands, mouse-like control and click wheel to manage your entertainment and smart home. Compatible LG TV Models.
Also my computer (Intel NUC) has IR. Can I at least use the remote to turn on the computer?

- Hmn this is a tough one lol, lets wait for the community to jump into this while I also spend my time to see if this will work. If your laptop is only doing a screencast, then I dont think it will work.

- If you have email, I'd go to http://www.lg.com and scroll down till you see Contact and Chat, Phone or Email. I would compose an email to Customer Support with your inquiry. Sounds like an interesting Accessibility enhancement for people that experience tremor like yourself!
If there is currently a way to do it, please let everyone know. Good luck. Hello. I appreciate this was a long time ago, but I was just trying to get back the pink cursor for my mother-in-law as it had disappeared. I turned the TV on and a voice was describing every button that was pressed. This was under Accessibility and is called 'Audio Guidance'. When I turned this off, the cursor came back.
So if you can put up with a voice describing every button that you press, you can reverse what I did and turn 'Audio Guidance' on and your cursor will disappear.
I hope, though, that you have already found a solution.
Best wishes and good luck,
James
NB. This is the most recent remote, but hopefully it will work for older ones.
